A Community Conversation on the topic of property insurance has been planned, by Dare County and the Outer Banks Association of Realtors, for Thursday, 2nd November, 2023, at 6 PM. The event will feature keynote speakers Gina Hardy, CEO of the North Carolina Insurance Underwriting Association, and Joann Biliouris, general manager of the North Carolina Rate Bureau.

The event will be free of charge and is being organized for the benefit of the public. A livestream of the event will be available on Dare County’s YouTube channel to facilitate those unable to attend in-person.

The venue for the event will be at the Dare County Board of Commissioners meeting room, located adjacent to the Dare County Administration Building at 954 Marshall C. Collins Drive in Manteo.
