Coastal Humane Society to Host Pet Vaccination Clinic in Avon
The Coastal Humane Society will host its fall Pet Vaccination Clinic on Wednesday, October 30, from 3-5 p.m. at the Avon Fire Station on Harbor Road.
Local veterinarian Dr. Mary Burkart from Roanoke Island Animal Hospital will administer the vaccines.
Affordable Vaccine Options for Cats and Dogs
The clinic offers individual vaccine options so families can choose which vaccinations best suit their pets. Prices are as follows:
For Cats:
- Rabies: $10
- FVRCP: $13
For Dogs:
- Rabies: $10
- DAP: $15
- Bordetella: $11
- Heartworm test: $20
Families must bring dogs on leashes and cats in carriers. No appointments are necessary, and all payments must be made with cash or check. The clinic operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so attendees may experience a wait.
