The 6th Annual Ocracoke Island Waterfowl Festival is scheduled for April 20 and 21 at the Ocracoke School Gymnasium.

The event is being organized by the Ocracoke Island Decoy Carvers Guild, showcasing the timeless art of decoy carving.

Event Details

Attendees can look forward to viewing a diverse range of decoy carvings. These include redheads, ruddy ducks, sprigtail, blue bills, ringnecks, swans, geese, shorebirds, and more. In addition to the impressive artwork, there will be exhibits featuring artifacts related to North Carolina’s waterfowl tradition.

The festival will also include engaging activities such as a bake sale and a Fish Fry, ensuring a weekend filled with enjoyment for all who attend.
