Cape Hatteras National Seashore is seeking feedback to pave a section of road at the intersection of Lighthouse Road and Flowers Ridge Road in Buxton.

Comments accepted March 28 – April 10, 2024.

The current gravel road at the Seashore’s boundary degrades due to weather and vehicular traffic to a private subdivision along Flowers Ridge Road. Paving this 400-ft long, 25-ft wide gravel section aims to improve community access and reduce maintenance costs.
