The Dare County Board of Commissioners will hold the State of the County event for the upcoming year at January 23rd, 2024.

The schedule for the event is as follows;

• Seating: 8:00 AM
• Breakfast: 8:15 AM
• Dare County Commissioners presentation: 9:00 AM

The Dare County Board of Commissioners presentation will address topics such as capital & infrastructure improvements, waterway accessibility, education, the opioid crisis, and veteran services.

Prior registration is required to attend the event, and seating is limited. The cost to attend is $10, which includes a full breakfast provided by Captain George’s Seafood Restaurant.
